The Mole series started in 1989 in Mole, a
town in the Northen Region. The event then became a yearly "affair".
The basic idea behind the Mole Series was to at least once in a year,
create a platform for Sector players to meet and have fruitful discussions
on challenges and determine the way forward in the common goal of providing
safe water and sanitation services to all. Years 2007 conference was
the eighteenth in the seriess.

CONIWAS is
in partnership with WaterAid Ghana undertaking this project to assess
the amount of aid that is channeled into water and sanitation service
delivery globally and nationally and to determine the quality and effectivenessof
this delivery at district and community levels .
